In Luke 10:41-42, Jesus’ words were gentle to Martha because He didn’t rebuke Martha for wanting to be a good host but rather remind her about her priorities. Martha was so busy trying to do good that she did not take time to honor Jesus. Let us remember one thing to be concerned about — enjoying time with our Savior. Jesus longs for our fellowship even more than we long for his.
