In Matthew 28:9-10, Jesus tells the women who came to the tomb, “Rejoice and do not be afraid!” We can learn to have faith and not fear, because Jesus has given us a foundation on which to build our confidence in Him. He said, in Heb. 13:5-6, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” And we must say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear.” The love of God frees us from the prison of fear.
