In the Book of Proverbs, Solomon sums up the reputations of wise and foolish people by saying, “A good name is to be chosen rather great riches, loving favor rather than silver and gold.” (Prov. 22:1)

Rather than ourselves, we are glorifying Jesus whose name is above all. A good name honors our great and glorious God!
