Church reschedules party

An invitation was published last week inviting the public to a youth and community holiday party at 10 a.m. Dec. 14 at Sheridan Chapel A.M.E. Church, 55 Sheridan Church Road, Kentwood.

SHPSO annual toy drive

Sheriff Nat Williams’ annual toy drive will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at the St. Helena Parish Sheriff’s Office, 19 N. First St., Greensburg. For more information, call (225) 222-4413.

Drilling maps available

The St. Helena Parish Clerk’s Office, 69 Sitman St., Greensburg, now has maps of the area where the proposed oil drilling will take place in the parish.

Stop by the Clerk’s Office anytime to get the most recent maps. The office also has a new website: sthelenaclerk.org. You can also follow it on Facebook.

St. Helena Parish Clerk of Court Mildred Cyprian received a grant to purchase a complete replacement case management system.
