For National Tourism Week, May 2-10, Lt. Gov. Jay Dardenne and staff toured Louisiana, stopping in St. Francisville on May 8.

A reception was held at the West Feliciana Parish Historical Society Museum in St. Francisville that was attended by Assistant Secretary for the Louisiana Office of Tourism Kyle Edmonson.

Edmonson assisted West Feliciana Tourism Director Laurie Walsh in awarding honors to tourism industry professionals and town employees for their efforts in making the St. Francisville and the parish a nice place to stay and visit.

Rosemary Blakes, of Butler Greenwood Bed and Breakfast, received an award for Best Accommodations Employee.

Eric Schneider, a town employee, was recognized for his efforts in keeping the community clean.
