Boy Scouts Adam Broussard and Collin Loyacono, of Troop 61, which is sponsored by St. Francisville United Methodist Church’s United Methodist Men, earned the rank of Eagle Scout.
The newly awarded Eagle Scouts were honored at a ceremony July 12 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church’s parish hall.
Adam is the son of Mark and Dawn Broussard, and Collin is the son of Tommy and Stacy Loyacono.
The Scouts, who started out together as Tiger Cubs with Pack 61, will be seniors at West Feliciana High School in August.
Adam’s Eagle project was painting the West Feliciana Food Pantry, while Collin’s Eagle project involved repairing and painting the wrought-iron fence at Spillman Cemetery in West Feliciana Parish.
To earn an Eagle rank, a Scout must complete requirements for each rank and earn 13 Eagle badges, along with other badges of his choice by his 18th birthday, Scoutmasters Ralph Hennessey and Wayne Slater said.
