West Feliciana Parish teens ages 13 to 17 interested in doing volunteer work at the West Feliciana Parish Library, 5114 Burnett Road, from 9 a.m. until noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays in June and on July 2, 7 and 9 are encouraged to apply.
Teens will be helping library staff on Tuesdays with various artists, musicians and dancers performing each week. On Thursdays, volunteers will be assisting with arts and crafts during story time.

Finds at farmers market
Local growers are friendly and ready to help you at the St. Francisville Farmers Market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Thursday in the old 4-H barn on Wilcox Street (next to Fred’s).
A partial list of homegrown items includes alfalfa sprouts; banana, bell and jalapeno peppers; blueberries; celery; cucumbers; sweet corn; shiitake mushrooms; mustard greens; new potatoes; pinto beans; tomatoes; yellow squash; and Vidalia onions.
Hydroponic lettuce in bibb, red and green oakleaf, red and green romaine and arugula are often featured.
Homemade salad dressings in feta tomato and bleu cheese; goat cheese in cajun, dill, plain and Tuscan flavors; feta cheese; and Grade A goat’s milk are all sold weekly.
Bread and butter pickles, fresh eggs, honey and canned jellies and jams are offered, as well as a variety of dried and fresh herbs and homemade yogurt.

Sweets include chess squares, mini-pound and tea cakes as well as lemon curd, sweet baked breads, muffins and fudge in a variety of flavors.
Tunes and Tours at Rosedown
Tunes and Tours: Rosedown Music Festival at Rosedown State Historic Site, 12501 La. 10, St. Francisville, is scheduled for 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday.
Rosedown Plantation will celebrate the Turnbull and Bowman families’ love of music. Visitors are invited to listen to music played throughout the park before embarking on a tour of the main house. Acoustic musicians are welcome to bring chairs and instruments and share their talents.

Wine tasting at Wyoming
A summer fundraiser for the St. Francisville Chamber of Commerce will be held in the form of a wine tasting from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday at Wyoming Plantation in St. Francisville, near the West Feliciana Parish hospital.
Tickets are $60 for a team of two to three people, and each team must bring three bottles of wine — one will go into a group of wines designated as the prize, while the other bottles will be entered into the tasting.
Ballots will be cast for the best- and worst-tasting wines. The winner will go home with the group of prize wines.
