West Feliciana High choir students excel at state rally _lowres

West Feliciana High School choir students participated in the Louisiana High School Rally Association’s state rally at LSU on April 16.

At the rally, students earn good, excellent or superior ratings in literary events and open and performance events.

Earning superior ratings in music, a performance event, were:

GIRLS TRIO: Anjalei Rogers, Emily Slater and Claire Smith.

BOYS VOCAL SOLO (high voices): Nick Kent and Tyler Smith.

BOYS VOCAL SOLO (low voices): Daniel Lathrop and Ty Morgan.

GIRLS VOCAL SOLO (high voices): Erin Smith and Jasmine Washington.

GIRLS VOCAL SOLO (low voices): Shaelyn Sagely and Claire Smith.

The Louisiana High School Rally Association provides opportunities for students to achieve a greater awareness of the importance of education, promote keen competition, a desire for excellence and recognizes and rewards students for excelling in academic pursuits, a news release said.
