Spectators lined Ferdinand Street in St. Francisville on Oct. 16, awaiting the floats and marching groups that were part of the West Feliciana High School homecoming parade.

Varsity and middle school football teams, cheerleaders and dancers, along with the Saints marching band, ROTC and maids named to the homecoming court threw candy and beads to paradegoers.

Superintendent Hollis Milton got into the fun, as well.

The Saints defeated the Port Allen Pelicans for homecoming 44-30.

The school’s homecoming dance was on Oct. 17.
