Two upcoming fundraisers are planned for Clovia Bunch, an employee of the West Feliciana Parish Sheriff’s Office who recently underwent surgery to remove a cancerous mass. Funds raised at both events will help Bunch pay for her treatment and recovery.

A jambalaya plate sale, Cookin’ for Clovia, is slated for Feb. 26.

Plates can be picked up from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the St. Francisville Town Hall, 11936 Ferdinand St.

Orders of 10 or more plates can be delivered by the Sheriff’s Office to locations inside the parish.

Tickets are $7 per plate and available at all WFPSO locations in St. Francisville, including: Sheriff’s Office/Courthouse, 4785 Prosperity St.; Detention Center/Jail, 4834 Feliciana St.; Substation, 8562 U.S. 61; and Investigations, 4597 Feliciana St.

Also, a benefit rodeo for Bunch is slated for 9 a.m. March 5 at the Parish Rodeo Arena, West Feliciana Community Park, 10226 W. Feliciana Parkway, St. Francisville.

Events will include open team roping, open calf roping, open breakaway and barrel racing for ages 13 to 17 and 12 and under.

Registration for rodeo participants begins at 8 a.m.
