BRUSLY — Police Chief Jamie Whaley is inviting all town residents to an informational community meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Town Hall.

Whaley said he organized the meeting to answer questions about criminal activity in the community after residents expressed fear following a recent carjacking.

All Brusly police officers will be on hand to meet the public.

They will discuss criminal trends, crime prevention techniques, methods used to solve crimes, police investigative measures and other crime-related topics, Whaley said.

Jambalaya and soft drinks will be served.
