The Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office is asking the public to help investigators identify and capture a man who robbed three convenience stores in three parishes overnight Wednesday.

Iberville Parish Sheriff Brett Stassi said the first armed robbery occurred shortly after midnight Tuesday in St. John Parish, followed by a second robbery at a store in Ascension Parish around 1 .a.m. The man, who was seen in surveillance footage driving a silver Dodge, successfully pulled off his final armed robbery that night at another convenience store in Iberville Parish around 3 a.m.

"We are working with other police departments in the parishes he was in to bring this criminal to justice," Stassi said Wednesday morning.

The sheriff said the man would enter each store, pretending to buy a pack of gum, and after the cashier opened their register, he pulled out his gun and grabbed the money. No one was injured in any of the robberies, Stassis said.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office at (225) 687-3553.
