Lane Regional Medical Center announces the opening of the Lane NeuroSpine Destination Center for the delivery of minimally invasive laser, endoscopic, percutaneous and open surgical procedures for patients with lumbar, cervical, thoracic, wrist and musculoskeletal pain.
Lane NeuroSpine Destination Center, 6110 Main St., Suite B, in Zachary, was developed with SpineMark, a developer of spine destination centers, for the diagnosis and treatment of back and neck problems, according to a news release.
The center provides comprehensive diagnostic, conservative, surgical and nonsurgical care to patients with back, lumbar and neck pain. Services include sacroiliac joint fusion, microdiscectomy, kyphoplasty, cervical disc fusion and replacement, laminectomy, carpal tunnel repair, pallidotomy, shunt placement and removal, and radiofrequency ablation.
Medical Director Dr. Adam Lewis, who leads a multispecialty team of physicians and health providers in the delivery of operative, nonoperative, diagnostic and holistic care at the center, said the goal is to effectively and efficiently diagnose the source of pain so patients can get started on the most appropriate treatment plan to improve their quality of life.
Lane CEO Randy Olson said the hospital’s partnership with Lewis, SpineMark and the NeuroSpine Center symbolizes its long-term investment to the communities served in East Baton Rouge, East and West Felciana and Pointe Coupee parishes.
