Zachary High School announced its homecoming court.

The court includes senior maids Ryleigh Carr, Elise Goff, Ariana Minor, Allegra Slaughter and Kaitlyn Vince; junior maids Taylee Corkern, Katie Phillips, Alexis Tarver and Emily Turner; sophomore maids Hailey Fisher, Catherine Halphen and Amin Washington; and freshmen maids Morgan Cooper, Kendal Kelley and Larrelle Matthews.

Homecoming festivities include Thursday’s theme day, “Let the Good Times Roll: A Louisiana Homecoming,” and Friday’s Spirit Day.

The Broncos will host Denham Springs at 7 p.m. Friday, but prior to kickoff, a full day of activities are planned.

From 10:30 a.m. until 11:15 a.m., a pep rally will be held in Bronco Stadium.

Following the pep rally, all schools will dismiss early, beginning with Zachary Career and Technical Center at 11:05 a.m. followed by Northwestern Middle and Zachary High at 11:15 a.m.

Zachary Elementary and Copper Mill Elementary schools will dismiss at 12:10 p.m., followed by Zachary Early Learning Center and Northwestern Elementary at 1:10 p.m.

Rollins Place students will be the last to dismiss at 1:20 p.m.

Beginning at 3 p.m., students will return for the annual homecoming parade, which will feature floats from all schools and some student clubs.

Floats will line up at and leave from ZHS, roll down Main Street and end at the Bank of Zachary.

A pregame introduction of the court begins at 6:30 p.m. inside Bronco Stadium.

Presentation of the maids and their escorts and the crowning of the queen will be during halftime.

On Saturday, the homecoming dance will be held at the Zachary High gym from 9 p.m. to midnight.
