More than 125 students at the Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts were honored during a summer ceremony held in Treen Auditorium on Oct. 16.

Jamin Kidd, a senior from Zachary, received recognition for summer research and professional projects on condensed matter physics research at MIT’s Francis Bitter Magnet Laboratory and for earning Graduation with Distinction honors.

Both Kidd and Bailey Dixon, a senior from Zachary, were acknowledged for scoring well on an AP exam, being named to the Honor Roll and as members of the National Honor Society.

Additionally, Dixon earned honors for participation in the Future Scientist Program.
