Lane Auxiliary awards service pins to volunteers _lowres

Three Lane Regional Medical Center Auxiliary members were recognized for their volunteer service to the hospital at the general meeting Aug. 11.

Auxiliary President Pauline Rushing presented the women with service pins, representing their many hours of volunteer work at the hospital.

Emmy Brister received her service pin for 6,000 hours of volunteer work, while Ruby Benoit and Sarah Vincent received pins for 5,000 hours of work each.

In existence since 1960, the Lane Auxiliary provides volunteer and financial support to the hospital through about 45 active members.
