On a perfect summer day in Zachary, Alice sees a white rabbit hurrying down Main Street. Curious to know where he is going, Alice follows him into the dark tunnel on Central Avenue, thus beginning her adventure.

After certain liberties are allowed, Alice settles in at the Northwestern Middle School auditorium, transformed into the bright, vibrant setting of "Alice in Wonderland JR.," the musical adaptation of the Lewis Carroll literary classic.

The middle school production features all the expected characters and a highly functional set design, said Trish Dry, the show's director. "Alice in Wonderland JR." will be performed at 7 p.m. March 1-3. Tickets on sale at nms.ticketleap.com/alice.
