In early November,Sarah Gallion's eighth grade French students attended a field trip to La Madeleine, a French restaurant in Baton Rouge. They ordered their meals in French and enjoyed a typical French lunch with a croque monsieur, quiche or chicken friand followed by dessert. Back at the school, they continued to sample foods including Orangina, and French cheeses such as brie and goat's cheese.
