Fish Fry Friday raises $4,600 _lowres

The annual Fish Fry Friday fundraiser on March 11, benefiting the LaneRMC Foundation, raised $4,600 for Lane Regional Medical Center services, equipment, training and other projects identified by the LaneRMC Foundation board.

Zachary Mayor David Amrhein and members of his staff fried the catfish, the Zachary Fire Department provided shelter from the rain for volunteers and chefs and helped serve the dinners, and food and supplies were donated by Breazeale, Sachse & Wilson LLP.

Several volunteers helped prepare and deliver meals purchased by Zachary residents and businesses.

Volunteers from the city of Zachary, Zachary Chamber, Charity League, City Council and Fire Department, Landmark Bank, LaneRMC Foundation and Lane Regional Medical Center included Jessica Ellis, Terry Gomez, Jeff Johnson, Michael Kimble, Lionel Lawson, Doug Lawton, Mack and Sharon Lea, Gordon Lipscomb, Kate MacArthur, Greg McDougall, Jennifer Mounts, Brandon Noel, Theresa Payment, Rudi Shoats, Charlene Smith, Laura Steen, Teresa Webb and Darryl Wilcox.
