In 2014, local retailer Stage Stores, which operates under the names Bealls, Goody’s, Palais Royal, Peebles and Stage, partnered with residents in communities across the country to donate $1.4 million to worthwhile organizations.
The company, with a location in Zachary, is asking residents to join them in collecting clothing for organizations in the community.
The clothing drive runs through July 21 at all 850 Stage locations.
Customers are invited to make donations of new or gently used clothing at any one of the above Stage stores.
“Stage Stores was established with an emphasis on community involvement and giving back to the local areas it serves,” said Michael Glazer, president and CEO. “That spirit of giving continues today and is ingrained in our core values.”
Each store has formed a local partnership with an organization that provides the donated clothing to families in need. As a special thanks, Stage will give participating customers a coupon for $10 off a $10 purchase on regular, sale and clearance items.
