The facility will replace AMG Feliciana in Clinton once open.

Traneicea Roshae Wilkerson is the recipient of the 2015 Lane Regional Medical Center Auxiliary scholarship.

Wilkerson, a 2015 graduate of East Feliciana High School in Jackson, is the daughter of Shalonda Longmire and Ronald Wilkerson Sr., of Jackson.

While attending East Feliciana High, Wilkerson maintained a 3.7 grade-point average and served on the school council and in the Student Ambassador Club. She was a peer tutor, cheerleader and a member of the band and yearbook club.

Wilkerson attends Rock of Salvation Ministry, where she serves as an usher and performs liturgical dance; volunteers with Feed the Hungry; and works at Jackson Complex Health Center.

Wilkerson plans to attend Southeastern Louisiana University to obtain a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Each year, Lane’s Auxiliary awards a $2,800 scholarship to a high school graduate interested in entering the health care field.
