The Zachary Chamber of Commerce has announced details for this year’s Christmas parade on Dec. 12 that’s themed “Sneaux Me Something, Mister.”

Children’s and school groups, dance companies, athletic teams, community organizations and local businesses are encouraged to use the “sneaux” theme as inspiration when decorating floats, cars, trucks, marching, horse or cycle groups.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the best float, best overall theme, best marching group and best riding group, which includes horses, cars, trucks or motorcycles.

Entry fee is $75 for chamber members and $100 for nonmembers and is nonrefundable.

Floats will line up at 9:30 a.m. in front of LeBlanc’s Food Stores on Church Street and, at 10 a.m., will continue east toward Main Street and downtown Zachary.
