Udraka Moab Roberts-Bey

A New Orleans man has admitted to trafficking a 15-year-old girl for sex by transporting her from Baton Rouge to the Crescent City and back to the capital city, Acting U.S. Attorney Corey Amundson reported Thursday.

Udraka Roberts-Bey, 26, pleaded guilty Wednesday in Baton Rouge federal court to conspiring to engage in sex trafficking of a minor. U.S. District Judge Shelly Dick did not set a sentencing date.

The girl, who lived in Arkansas, was rescued last June during an undercover operation at a Baton Rouge hotel, the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office said previously.

Jennifer Gabrielle Anselmo, 23, of Slaughter, also was arrested during the undercover operation, but federal authorities dismissed a conspiracy charge against her in January.

A second woman, Skylar Marie Harris, 21, of Lake Charles, was arrested during another undercover "date" at the hotel. She faces a misdemeanor prostitution charge in Baton Rouge state court.
