Hudson Kirkpatrick, 19, one of 10 men arrested in the hazing death of LSU fraternity pledge Maxwell Gruver, was released on bond Thursday.

Kirkpatrick was released hours after the other nine men arrested, who all made bond earlier Thursday. Kirkpatrick, of Baton Rouge, is one of nine facing misdemeanor hazing counts — all with the same bond amount of $5,000.

Matthew Naquin, 19, of Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas, was the only member booked on a count of negligent homicide as well as hazing. His bond was set at $10,000.

Gruver died on Sept. 14 after a night of drinking at the Phi Delta Theta house. Fraternity members hazed pledges and made them participate in a drinking game where they had to drink if they answered quiz questions wrong, according to LSU police reports.
