A Shreveport man pulled over on Interstate 10 in West Baton Rouge Parish turned out to have 466 pounds of marijuana stashed in his pickup truck, State Police said.

State troopers stopped Carl Fuller, 56, shortly before 10 a.m. Saturday “after observing several traffic violations,” said Trooper 1st Class Bryan Lee, a State Police spokesman.

Lee said troopers received permission to search Fuller’s 2011 Ford F-350 and discovered the packages of marijuana.

Fuller was booked into West Baton Rouge Parish Jail on a count of possession with intent to distribute Schedule I drugs, Lee said.
