Three people were arrested on counts of bank fraud and theft in the amount of $200,000, Attorney General Jeff Landry said Tuesday.

Jason Lipscomb, of Ponchatoula, was arrested on one count of bank fraud and theft by fraud in the amount of $200,000, Landry said in a news release. He was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.

Brian Furber and Wanda Sue Lade, both of Port Orange, Florida, were also arrested on counts of bank fraud and theft by fraud. Both were booked into the Volusia County Jail and are expected to be in Louisiana this week.

Additional suspects may still be arrested in the complaint, Landry said.

“My office is dedicated to investigating, arresting and prosecuting those who commit fraud,” Landry said in the release. “While recent cuts to our budget may negatively impact our office’s efforts – we stay committed to eliminating fraud, waste and abuse in Louisiana.”
