Man accused of having sex with girl, 13
Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 24-year-old man accused of having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl.
The girl’s mother spoke with police in late September after she discovered sexually explicit text messages on her daughter’s cellphone that had been sent to Jose Toledo-Enciso, according to an affidavit of probable cause.
The girl later told police she had sex with Toledo-Enciso at his house and that he used a condom and made her take a birth control pill.
Toledo-Enciso, 2575 Gardere Lane, was booked Saturday into Parish Prison on a count of carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
Three arrested on suspicion of DWI
Authorities arrested at least three people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between 2:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, booking records show.
Those booked and the counts against them:
- John Grimmer, 35, 5715 Guice Drive, Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, careless operation and possession of an alcoholic beverage in a vehicle.
- Jose Romero, 22, 546 E. Main St., Brusly, first-offense DWI, driver’s license not in possession, obstruction of a public highway, switched license plate, inspection required, reckless operation, and failure to transfer registration.
- Alexander Vazquez-Catala, 25, 6525 Park, Metairie, first-offense DWI, failure to signal and license plate required.
