A 32-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after he exposed himself to a woman jogging by the LSU lakes, telling her he had to show his penis to 100 women before he could get into the fraternity he was pledging, police said.
Baton Rouge police booked Charles Jeremy Harrison, of 10418 White Road, Denham Springs, into Parish Prison on a count of obscenity, booking records show.
The woman told police Aug. 11 that she was jogging around the LSU lakes when she noticed a van pass by her multiple times, causing her alarm, a Baton Rouge police report says.
She was trying to determine an escape route in case someone inside the vehicle attempted to grab her when Harrison pulled up in the van and stopped next to her.
He told her he had to show numerous women his penis to gain entry into an unnamed LSU fraternity and that he would get “extra points” if she would put her hand by his penis for a picture, the report says.
The woman moved away from the vehicle, at which point he displayed his penis.
Police identified Harrison from other police reports, and the victim also identified him in a six-person photographic line-up, the report says.
LSU spokesman Ernie Ballard said there was no record of Harrison attending LSU.
