A Baton Rouge woman, driving with her 1-year-old daughter unrestrained in the back seat, repeatedly rammed her vehicle into the car of another woman driving down Airline Highway on Thursday, Baton Rouge Police said.

The victim, who was driving in her car with her boyfriend, told police they tried to avoid the woman, identified as Tykeisha Seals. Seals followed the victim to her home where Seals then approached the woman, who remained inside her car, and began punching her in the face, police said.

When police arrived, Seals was back inside her own car and the officer had to pull her out of the car to handcuff her. While being taken to the patrol unit, Seals spat in the victim’s face, the report said.

Police then found child, who was unharmed, inside Seal’s car. The girl later left in the father’s custody.

Seals was booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on counts of second-degree aggravated battery, two counts simple battery, resisting an officer, disturbing the peace and cruelty to a juvenile.
