Authorities arrested at least eight people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between 2:30 p.m. Thursday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday, booking records show.
Those booked and the counts against them:
Dominique Chopin, 22, 5350 Groom Road, Baker, third-offense DWI, operating a vehicle while under suspension for prior DWI, disobeying a red light, reckless operation and possessing alcoholic beverage.
Angela Scott, 37, 8290 Florida Boulevard, Denham Springs, first-offense DWI and failure to signal.
Juhn Simmons, 27, 180 Osceola St., Denver, Colorado, first-offense DWI and improper lane usage.
Reginald Mills, 42, 8029 Ned Ave., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, operating a vehicle while under suspension and improper lane usage.
John Patin, 46, 12020 Florida Boulevard, Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, reckless operation and driver’s license suspended/revoked.
Nehemiah Kimble, 31, 5143 Fairfields Ave., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, improper lane usage, license plate required, driver’s license not in possession and drinking in a motor vehicle.
Landon Weber, 24, 42553 Highway 42, Prairieville, first-offense DWI and failure to signal.
Derek Veatch, 34, 8800 East Harry St., Wichita, Kansas, first-offense DWI, yielding to stop sign and reckless operation.
Nhut Do, 23, 3566 Warren Drive, Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI and failure to maintain control.
