A closing time brawl outside a Tigerland bar Tuesday morning drew a rowdy crowd of hundreds as Baton Rouge police officers tried to break up the fracas.

Around 400 to 450 people spilled into the parking lot of Reggie’s, 1176 Bob Pettit Blvd., after the bar shut down at 2 a.m., a Baton Rouge police report says. As officers tried to disperse the crowd, the bar patrons became rowdy, yelling and screaming while three men fought on the ground and on the hoods of vehicles, the report says.

Officers used stun guns to subdue and arrest the men — identified as Christen Free, 19; Zeaven Hunt, 18; and Jonas Crystal, 21 — as the crowd pressed in around them, the report says.

Citing the tumultuous crowd gathered around the fight, officers booked all three into Parish Prison on a count each of rioting.

Hunt, of 4000 Live Oak Drive, Brusly; Free, of 3464 Live Oak Drive, Brusly; and Crystal, 36580 Swamp Road, Prairieville, all remained in jail Tuesday afternoon.

Bail for Hunt and Free is set at $3,500 each, while bail for Crystal is set at $5,000, according to jail records.
