Baton Rouge police identified the 69-year-old woman killed Thursday after she was struck by a vehicle on Jefferson Highway.

Baton Rouge police spokesman Sgt. L'Jean McKneely Jr. said Lilley Williams was trying to cross Jefferson Highway in the 12400 block around 3 p.m. when she was hit by a 2009 Hyundai Accent.

Investigators do not suspect alcohol or speed as factors in the crash. They continue to investigate, McKneely said.
