Authorities arrested at least eight people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, booking records show.
Those booked and the counts against them:
— Arthelius Bush, 43, 1229 E. Hazel St., Gonzales, third-offense DWI, reckless operation, driving with a suspended or revoked license, and obstruction of a public passage.
— James Hilts, 58, 655 Sharp Lane, Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, improper lane usage and reckless operation.
— Jeremy Lewis, 21, 26972 Highway 22, Springfield, first-offense DWI, passing on the right and reckless operation.
— Walter Rodgers, 58, 29855 Greenwell Springs Road, Greenwell Springs, second-offense DWI, failure to maintain control, and possession of an alcoholic beverage in a vehicle.
— Michael Tarwater, 19, 10417 Fernbrook Ave., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI.
— William Vizer, 36, 12148 Hooper Road, Central, second-offense DWI and improper lane usage.
— Alex Williams, 18, 348 St. Mary St., Brusly, first-offense DWI, equipment violation, speeding and reckless operation.
— Miranda Young, 17, 39670 Kraft Road, Ponchatoula, first-offense DWI, passing on the right, reckless operation, drinking in a vehicle, no headlights and not in possession of a license.
