A 33-year-old man was arrested Wednesday and accused of having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl, an affidavit of probable cause says.
The relationship occurred between June and October at a Baton Rouge residence, the affidavit says.
Authorities were notified of the relationship earlier this month, the affidavit says. Randall Gene Dachenhaus was arrested several weeks later.
Dachenhaus, 12020 Florida Blvd., was booked into Parish Prison on four counts of a sex crime.
Fire damages house on Angles Avenue
A residence on Angles Avenue in the northern portion of East Baton Rouge Parish was heavily damaged Wednesday in a fire, District 6 Fire Department Chief Joel Hancock said.
A neighbor called the volunteer Fire Department just before 11 a.m. after seeing smoke coming from 7043 Angles Ave., Hancock said.
When firefighters arrived, they found the kitchen ablaze, he said.
No one was home at the time of the fire, which was sparked by an automatic coffeepot and caused $100,000 worth of damage, Hancock said.
2 booked with DWI in EBR Parish Prison
Authorities arrested at least two people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, booking records show.
Those booked and the counts against them:
• Judith Carbo, 45, 36325 Maple Leaf Ave., Prairieville, first-offense DWI and improper lane usage.
• Scott Lawless, 22, 2155 Marion Drive, LaPlace, first-offense DWI and stop sign violation.
