Baton Rouge Police on Sunday identified the body of a man found Saturday night in an open field in north Baton Rouge.
Henery Jessie Gray, 59, who was homeless, died of natural causes, police spokesman Cpl. L’Jean McKneely said Sunday in a news release.
Police found Gray’s body in a field in the 1300 block of Plank Road at Scenic Highway.
McKneely has said Gray was found “face down in a puddle of water, surrounded by weeds.”
Also on Saturday, police found the partially nude body of a 30-year-old woman in a field near the 1500 block of Gracie Street about 12:20 p.m.
The woman suffered multiple gunshots wounds, McKneely has said, in an attack that police think happened Friday night.
Baton Rouge Police have not yet released the woman’s identity or any other details about her death.
