Baker police are investigating a shooting Thursday morning on Harding Street that left a man with two non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
The victim told investigators that someone knocked on his door at 4510 Harding St., claiming to be a UPS delivery driver, Baker Police Chief Mike Knaps said in a news release.
When the victim opened the door, the gunman pointed a pistol in his face and demanded money. As the victim slammed the door shut, the gunman fired three times. The bullets went through the door, striking the victim twice, Knaps said.
The gunman ran from the house, the release says.
