A Zachary man lured a six-year-old boy into the bushes of a Baton Rouge apartment complex and exposed himself, a Baton Rouge police affidavit says.
Marcus Deandre Dunn, 29, was arrested Thursday on counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile and attempted sexual battery, according to the document. The child complained that Dunn offered him $50 on Sept. 15 to follow him behind bushes to the corner of an apartment complex in the 6700 block of Renoir Avenue, the affidavit alleges.
Dunn is accused of asking the boy to touch his penis before walking away around a minute later, the document says. Video surveillance shows Dunn driving into the apartment complex, speaking to the boy, and disappearing behind bushes before emerging 65 seconds later, according to the affidavit.
Dunn admitted to authorities he went into the corner with the boy, but said the child may have watched him urinating. He said he didn’t know anyone who lived at the apartment complex, the document stated.
Dunn, of the 3400 block of Shaffett Lane in Zachary, was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
