A Baton Rouge woman accused of hitting one person with a tire iron, then trying to run over a second individual with her vehicle, was arrested Friday on a count of attempted second degree murder.

The victims told police they had gotten into an altercation Friday afternoon, in the 14400 block of Bard Avenue, with Earnesha Wolfe, 23, 3125 Tecumseh St.

Wolfe struck one of the victims with a tire iron on the left forearm, then tried several times to run over the second victim with her vehicle, pinning the victim against a building in one of the attempts, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

The victim struck with the tire iron was transported to a hospital for treatment. The tire iron was found in Wolfe’s vehicle, police said.

Wolfe was arrested on a count of aggravated battery, in addition to the second degree murder count, police said.
