The man who was fatally shot Wednesday while wearing a ski mask and holding a gun on Plank Road was identified as 36-year-old Letroyed Brown, said Sgt. L'Jean McKneely, a Baton Rouge police spokesman .

McKneely said that Brown, of 2910 Main St., was seen running with another man, who was also wearing a ski mask, behind a barber shop and a few homes on Wednesday afternoon when he was shot multiple times.

The gunman was seen leaving the area in a dark colored vehicle, McKneely said. He said the shooting is still under investigation.
