Police are looking for a 23-year-old woman in the shooting death Sunday of a 22-year-old woman who was shot in a parking lot between two apartment complexes.

Police are searching for Kiera Turner, who allegedly shot De Shannon Browder multiple times after the two women had an argument about 2:50 p.m. in the parking lot at 1819 Marque Ann Drive, said Cpl. L’Jean McKneely, a Baton Rouge police spokesman.

Browder, of 3553 Wayne St., was rushed to a hospital but died of her injuries Sunday evening, McKneely said.

McKneely said investigators have been told there may be other victims, but as of Sunday night, police had not found anyone else who was wounded in the shooting.

Police asked anyone with information about the shooting or Turner’s whereabouts to contact the Baton Rouge Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit at (225) 389-4869 or Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-7867.
