A woman was found shot to death Tuesday afternoon inside a Baton Rouge residence, a police official said.
Selena Hansel, 41, whose address is unknown, was discovered at 3:53 p.m. in a house located at 4021 Pawtucket Street, which is abandoned, said Baton Rouge Police Cpl. L’Jean McKneely.
Hansel’s death was determined to be a homicide; she suffered multiple gunshot wounds to her torso, said East Baton Rouge Coroner Wiliam “Beau” Clark.
Police are investigating and do not have a motive for the shooting at this time, McKneely said.
