Baton Rouge police are looking for a 26-year-old man who escaped police custody early Tuesday morning, a police spokesman said.

Jody Netter, 7325 Caprice Ave., was initially arrested by police for forcibly breaking into a home and arguing with his girlfriend, Cpl. L’Jean McKneely said in a news release.

Netter escaped while in police custody at the Fourth District Precinct around 3:55 a.m. Tuesday, McKneely said.
