An eight-unit apartment building on Burbank Drive was damaged during a Saturday night blaze and investigators are still looking into the cause, St. George Fire Department Assistant Chief Michael Armanini said.

The fire started around 5:50 p.m. Saturday at a two-story apartment at 9989 Burbank Drive, Armanini said. Firefighters were on the scene by 5:58 p.m. and had the flames under control by 6:14 p.m.

The main apartment where the fire started is a total loss, Armanini said, while the second floor and entire building were moderately damaged. Five people live in the apartments, but none were inside during the fire, he said.
