Baton Rouge man, 18, shot on Winbourne Avenue; hospitalized with life threatening injuries _lowres

Baton Rouge police are investigating a shooting early Saturday morning after officers found an 18-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in front of a house on Winbourne Avenue.

The victim in the shooting around 1 a.m. at 2415 Winbourne Avenue was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, spokesperson Cpl. Don Coppola Jr. said in a news release.

The victim’s name was not released.

Police on Saturday afternoon said they did not know of a motive for the shooting or have any suspects, the release says.
