HAMMOND - Tangipahoa Parish authorities are offering a $2,500 reward for information about a deadly house fire in Hammond that may have been deliberately set, a Sheriff's Office news release said.
When firefighters arrived Monday to put out a fire reported at 45158 N. Baptist Road, they discovered the body of Charles Anthony Ockman, 62, with his hands bound behind his back, the news release said.
The Sheriff's Office and the Louisiana State Fire Marshal's Office are investigating the fire, the news release said.
A cause of death for Ockman has not been determined, the news release says.
