Police: 2 men shot three times at victim
Police arrested two men accused of shooting at another man three times following an argument, according to two arrest affidavits.
Christian Campbell, 23, 18274 Magnolia Drive, Prairieville; and Gregory Bindon, 24, 2888 Doughtery Drive, Apartment No. 113, were booked into Parish Prison on Tuesday on one count each of attempted second-degree murder and criminal damage to property.
The argument between Campbell, Bindon and the victim occurred at the victim’s home, which was not listed in the documents, records show.
When the victim told Bindon and Campbell to leave his home, the two men stopped in the middle of the street and Campbell allegedly pulled a gun and shot three times at the victim, the affidavits say.
One of the bullets hit a nearby vehicle, the affidavits say. Bindon and Campbell ran to King Court apartments on Dougherty Drive where they were later found by police.
3 sought in robbery of woman at gunpoint
Detectives are looking for three people who robbed an elderly woman at gunpoint July 1 and stole her car from her home, according to an East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office news release.
