Baton Rouge police are looking for a man accused in a home invasion and rape Thursday night in the Garden District.

The man forcibly entered a woman’s house around 9:45 p.m., raped her and stole money and other items, said Cpl. L’Jean McKneely, a Baton Rouge Police Department spokesman.

The suspect was described as a black man in his mid-20s with a medium complexion, short hair and brown eyes. He was seen wearing a long sleeve plaid shirt and dark pants.
