Baton Rouge police are asking for help identifying a group of would-be burglars who smashed out the front glass of the Choctaw Drive Family Dollar in April but left without grabbing any merchandise.

The three individuals, captured on security camera footage with their faces covered by ski masks and bandanas, broke into the building at 3815 Choctaw Drive, about 4 a.m. April 17, said Sgt. Don Coppola Jr., a spokesman for the Baton Rouge Police Department.

Coppola said the group went inside the business but didn’t appear to take any merchandise.

Detectives are requesting that anyone with information about the break-in or the identity of the individuals to contact the Baton Rouge Police Department’s Burglary Division at (225) 389-3824 or Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-7867.
