Two cars, a storage building, fences and a walkway were destroyed and a house damaged in a fire Sunday afternoon on Caroljack Drive, according to the St. George Fire Department.

The fire, which was reported at 1:53 p.m., apparently started in a storage building behind a house at 3014 Caroljack Drive before engulfing the building and spreading to the attic and roof of the main house, said Eldon Ledoux, a spokesman for the St. George Fire Department. Two cars parked in a neighbor’s driveway at 3004 Caroljack Drive also caught fire, Ledoux said.

St. George firefighters brought the fire under control by 2:40 p.m., Ledoux said. Neither homeowner was present at the time of the fire and no one was injured, Ledoux said.

An investigator was sent to the home, but the cause of the fire hasn’t yet been determined, Ledoux said.
