Original story:

A man is in custody after police say he forced a woman into a vehicle and then took her to a home on Longfellow Drive, where he initially refused to leave.

Around 2:30 a.m. Thursday, Baton Rouge police responded to a reported disturbance between a man and woman in the 5300 block of Underwood Avenue, said Sgt. Don Coppola, a police spokesman.

Officers learned that the man “had forced the female into a vehicle,” which was later found off Longfellow Drive, Coppola said.

Police learned that the man and woman were in a house in the area, and the Special Response Team was called to remove them from the residence. WBRZ reported that the home was vacant.

The man was taken into custody shortly before 8 a.m., Coppola said, adding that there have been no reports of injuries so far.
